Melanie Steinke completed her formal music training in vocal and piano performance at the Conservatory of Music at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. She began her singing career as a featured Mezzo and Soprano with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra for major works of John Rutter-Gloria, Requiem, Magnificat, Faure Requiem, Mozart Requiem, Handel's Messiah, Vivaldi's Gloria, Bach Magnificat and many others.  Musical roles include Lili in "Carnival", Maria in "Sound of Music" and supporting role in the opera "Carmen".Her accompanying credits include children's operas," The Little Sweep" and" Noye's Fludde", many major musicals, major choral works including all Rutter works, Handel's" Messiah", Bach and Vivaldi works, recitals, concerts, church services and solo piano concerts. Directing credits include "Charlie Brown" and "Oklahoma!" On the Treasure Coast she is a guest soloist at many venues as a classical, Broadway and pop vocalist and pianist. She has been a professional instructor of voice and piano for many years and is currently the Director of Music and Choral Ministry at St Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Jensen Beach.


J. Kendall has been playing drums for 10 years. He first started on the piano, but after getting behind a drum set at the age of 9 he fell in love with it. He has lived in many places, but Florida has been his home for 2 years now. He currently plays the drums for several churches around the area and loves 80's music.

J. Kendall has been teaching drums for 2 years now and has been at Little Prodigy School of Music for the last year.  

Little Prodigy is directed by Maribel Soriano. “Ms. Maribel” began LP in 2001. Graduating from Westminster Choir College- as a member of the famed Westminster Choir- majoring in Voice Performance. Among her many accomplishments she has served terms as President, and now Vice President of the Treasure Coast Music Teachers Association and is a member of Palm Beach Music Teachers Association, National Music Teachers Association, and American College of Musicians. Mrs. Maribel is often invited to instruct music workshops and is frequently a judge in music competitions. She has served as Music Director at her local church as well as in adult and children’s music ministry for over a decade. 
Mrs. Soriano is also the Director/Principal of the Stuart, FL Classical Conversations- a K- 12 Homeschooling group. She has successfully “homeschooled” her own 4 children and is married for 20 years. 
From the very beginning, she has been dedicated to the development of her students and studio.

Brianna received her bachelors degree in elementary and exceptional student education from Flagler College, and her masters degree in reading education from Southeastern University. She has hours of training and field experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and working with students with special needs. She has 5+ years of teaching experience with students from preschool through high school, as well as adults with disabilities. Brianna also teaches the young adults life-skills program at Little Prodigy. Brianna also has 4+ years of experience leading youth ministry. Brianna has been involved in the arts since she was 7 years old, and has been involved in different choirs and drama productions since she was 9. She plays guitar and piano, and enjoys helping lead worship at her local church. 

Abigail Bradley

Alie Smith graduated from Indian River State College with her Bachelor’s majoring in Business Management and Minoring in Elementary Education. She has over ten years of experience teaching piano at Little Prodigy. She currently serves in worship as a keyboardist for her local church. In addition to teaching Ms. Alie also over sees all the daily aspects of the studio from scheduling to daily office management.

Brett Michael Rocker has associates in Business degree from Florida Atlantic University and is a versatile musician with experience in a variety of styles and genres from rock, pop, contemporary Christian and much more. He plays Electric, Acoustic, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, and Piano. He sang in various competitive choir groups in high school receiving several awards and accolades. In college, he was a member of the fraternity Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia where he sang for various engagements. He currently serves as a worship leader and runs our studio Band Jam Sessions: Rock Band & Worship Band workshops. 

Abigail Bradley has been playing Violin for 10 years. She has also been teaching Violin for 3 years at Little Prodigy School of Music. She is currently enrolled at IRSC college receiving her bachelors degree in Music Education and her goal is to receive a Music Education degree in the next year to teach orchestra in High Schools. Abigail loves to teach kids to play violin and to continue to pursue there dreams like she did.

Miriam Fraguela has over 20 years of preschool and aftercare experience as a classroom teacher and aide working for various daycares and afterschool programs. In addition to running our afterschool Fine Arts Academy, Mrs. Miriam also teaches our popular Sewing, Pinterest DIY classes, and camps throughout the school year.  She has received hours of training in classroom management, lesson planning as well as working with students with special needs.
